About Me

Usman started his journey in secondary school in Bradford, where his love for music, sound and creative tech sparked a real interest in live events. From there, he carried that momentum into further study and real-world gigs — building experience across lighting, rigging, sound, projection and staging, and developing into a reliable freelance technician and lighting programmer.

He’s now 20 and studying at Production Park with the Academy of Live Technology (Backstage), where he’s continuing to level up his skills, expand his technical knowledge.

Along the way, Usman has gained international experience and worked all over the UK. In 2025, he was recognised as a Youth Music Awards nominee in the Rising Industry Star category. His long-term goal is to be part of major projects — touring globally, meeting new people, and making new friends along the way.

He’s focused on building a strong career across the rigging world, scenic set design, and lighting, with the aim of reaching arena and stadium-level productions and continuously pushing himself to the next level.
